Dear Mrs Grant and Panel Members,
I am writing to express my interest in the Primary Classroom Teacher position at St Anne’s Catholic College. As a Graduate Teacher with strong experience across K–2 and a deep commitment to your School's values, I am eager to contribute to a school community founded on compassion, resilience, faith and high-quality learning.
My teaching philosophy aligns strongly with St Anne’s focus areas. I strive to create classrooms where students feel safe, valued and challenged. I use explicit instruction, structured routines and intentional questioning to support students to become curious and critical thinkers.
Through my experience at Public School, I have developed strong skills in explicit literacy and numeracy teaching, differentiation and supporting a wide range of learning needs. I design effective learning sequences aligned with the new NSW syllabus, embed success criteria, deliver purposeful small-group instruction and use formative data to guide next steps. I maintain positive partnerships with families and colleagues and uphold high expectations for behaviour, engagement and respect.
I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to the learning and wellbeing of St Anne’s school community. Thank you for considering my application.
Yours sincerely,
Annabel Pellow
