I have looked after my neighbour's child while their parent works from home. Although the parental guardian was present, I still had to show responsibility and ensure that the child was safe at all times.

In May, I completed a week of year 10 work experience at Jessie Brown Kindergarten. For this role, I spent time with children aged 2-4. I played games with them, helped them complete activities, read books, and played outdoor games.

• Responsibility: If there was not always a staff member present, I supervised the children, making sure that they avoid safety hazards

I was a netball Umpire for a winter season at Mitcham Primary School. I mostly umpired children from ages 8-12; however, it varied every game. In order to gain this role, I participated in several netball umpire clinics.
