My duties involve finding work and business, Organising and maintaining machinery, processing bills in a timely manner while maintaining top quality standards for products produced. This mainly applies during harvest time.
I milk 280 cows in a 20 aside herringbone. My duties include getting cows in, milking the cows while addressing necessary health and safety procedures, washing down and sanitation of dairy and yards, Feeding cattle, Feeding calves, tractor duties including silage bales, mowing, seeding, and strip grazing cattle on summer crops.
Began as a kennel hand in 2022 while completing my school studies in year 10, my duties included Helping hold patients, TPR patients, cleaning and providing care to hospital patients. I Then furthered my studies and completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies, before completing a certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, and am currently employed as a Vet nurse. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring surgery patients, administering medication and assisting the vet with any tasks, and discharging hospital patients.
Began helping on the family farm from a young age, Moving cattle, feeding and managing livestock, aswell as raring young calves, Began taking on all the tractor work around 5 years ago and now can confidently run each harvest season and create good quality produce for our livestock.
