2022, 44% of overall visitation to Liverpool Regional Museum was through programs. One program was highlighted on the Today Show, as one of the top 3 free July school holiday activities in NSW and in January 2023 the school holiday Time Capsule program was mentioned as an interesting activity to attend on ABC Radio National.
2020, Researched, wrote, and created 5 different digital products for the ANMM’s learning page to support students and teachers. These include writing a digital story, three film scripts, research, a blog and activities for students. The Pirate School short film and activities was used by the NSW Department of Education as part of the Learn from Home Strategy and was sent to every primary school teacher in NSW.
2015-2019, In consultation with the Senior Education Officer in 2015-2019, I developed and administered the War and Peace in the Pacific 75, an international program that encouraged students to find new primary sources about WWI1 and produce documentaries based on their findings. A youth ambassadorship connected to the program selected students to travel to international sites. This project was awarded a Highly Commended by MAGNA Museums and Galleries National Awards 2018.
2019, Scoped and wrote an innovative program on immigration that incorporated that mixed technology, drama, hands on workshops and primary sources. Nominated for an Imagine award 2019.
2019, Wrote and project managed the Thomas Barrett animation that was used as part of the tour.
2013-2019, Developed, planned and implemented the annual Women in Science program, now a flagship event for the Museum. For this program I established a partnership with the UNSW and then extended this to many other institutions and businesses that supported the day.
2019, Produced two induction videos to familiarize visiting students and teachers about what to expect during their visit to the ANMM and the HMB Endeavour. Wrote and designed a new learning program for the HMB Endeavour.
2012-2019, Represented the Education Team and ANMM on HMB Endeavour voyages, planning and developing arrangements for visits with local communities, schools and volunteers at ports of call, and then training volunteers in preparation for visits.
2013, Established and delivered ANMM’s Virtual Excursion programs including the 2013, record breaking program for NSW Education Dartconnections, for the largest number of students and schools in one session. Produced innovative and informative programs with prominent speakers such as Charles Bolden the Head of NASA to using ANMM staff to inform and excite students nationally and internationally.
Circle exhibition, Wrote the school programs and produced two videos of an interview with Jeannie Baker, an award-winning children’s author, to explain the context of Jeannie and her artmaking. These videos travelled with the exhibition and were used in the other galleries and museums and by Jeannie Baker on her Webpage.
2007, Collection Management Policy and the Collection Access Policy created for Wattawa Heights PS was shared through the Principals Network, to be used as a template for other Teacher Librarians in the NSW Public Education system. Created the Wattawa Heights PS Library Webpage for students, teachers and the wider community.
