Providing advice and guidance to client's on claims and policy interpretation, including why a claim was not accepted. Advocating for a client when a claim in declined by an insurer on an unreasonable basis.
Providing guidance to junior staff and acting as a mentor.
Building relationships with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and panel lawyers.
Providing Broker Account Executives and Brokers with regular claim updates and answering any claim queries as required.
Deliver a concierge claims service on every claim on a National basis.
Proactive approach in the management of all claims within the liability space .
Manage claims from start to finish with assistance of legal panel as/if required with authority to do so up to $ 1 million.
Understand legislative requirements in each stat as required.
Manage a portfolio of technical claims including:-
Legal Liability, both personal injury and material damage
Legal Defence Expenses
Office Bearers Legal Liability
Fidelity Guarantee
Voluntary Workers
Liaise with and instruct panel lawyers as necessary.
Manage all claims within KPI timeframes
Optimise the average age of a claim through pro-active diary management and vendor engagement.
Bi-Annual client/solicitor file reviews
Ongoing training and guidance of junior staff.
Ensure early contact and support for injured workers.
Lodge claims for Workers Compensation injuries and notify relevant parties in a timely and compliant manner.
Accurately review and assess claims
