Annie Bates

I am a passionate and energetic pre-service teacher who is eager to be independent in the classroom. I love being in the classroom and building positive connections with the students. I value the importance of learning about my learners and identifying what and how I can implement a range of teaching and behavioural pedagogies to enable them to flourish.

Understanding the students as individuals is pertinent in my teaching philosophy. I believe that accurate and relevant teaching, learning and behaviour correcting pursuits follow on more naturally and effectively.

I thoroughly enjoy playing and coaching touch football, therefore, I seek being actively involved in the school community by volunteering to coach teams and help where I can with other extra curricular activities.
