I currently hold position as chair of the children and young people's VSAC focus group. This position involves planning and chairing focus group meetings with a small team of VSAC members, and ensure all members have space to contribute safely.
Work within a team of 13 other victim survivors of diverse backgrounds.
Provide insights and advice to government, as well as relevant family violence stakeholders regarding areas of improvement.
Prepare for VSAC meetings by reading material and preparing any relevant speeches/presentations.
Engage in expression of interest projects with various stakeholders, with some highlights included below:
Work with Victoria Police to produce a lived-experience interview on police response to children and young people.
Presentation at the Family Violence Reform Advisory Group (FVRAG) regarding the gaps that children and young people experience.
Attended a FVRAG meeting representing VSAC.
Membership on the ANROWS 2025 conference sector advisory group.
