I have a strong interest in early childhood intervention programs, focusing on trauma informed practices, toxic load in the family and how the brain develops up to early adulthood.
With over 20 years of experience with family health in a professional, naturopathic setting. During this time, I started to frequently observe long-term health discrepancies that could not be treated without some form of psychological intervention. This led me to study brain plasticity and further finding that long-term health outcomes could largely be linked back to childhood trauma or neglect. The neurobiology of the brain and its ability to so easily be damaged in the early years carries out a magnitude of psychological and physiological diseases. Thus, the importance of early intervention programs aimed not just at children, but their caregivers as well.
I am a highly empathic person, eager to learn, and eager to contribute to team success with like-minded people.
Outcome objectives are for all children to have secure attachments with close caregivers in a warm and caring environment. Leading to success in reconnecting families.
