Capstone RMIT Project

IND Technology
01.2018 - 12.2018
  • Company Overview: Vic
  • Undertook yearlong research project designing and simulating a corona discharge simulator for 11-22kV transmission line.
  • Used COMSOL software analysis tool to model the generation of corona discharge dissipation at different geometric shape.
  • Based on FEA analysis(Comsol software), prototypes were created and tested at High voltage testing lab.
  • Liaised with supervisor to ensure prototypes were suitable for transmission line and written an extensive detailed report based upon the conclusions gathered from the High voltage testing.
  • Vic

RMIT Software design Project

Vic
01.2017 - 12.2017
  • Undertook a year-long team design project designing and programming a remote-control system for a vehicle DSP Amplifier.
  • Involves extracting design requirements from the directors, producing weekly updates and results, and documenting the design process.
  • The project involved conceptualising and manufacturing a full remote control for the DSP Amplifier, capable of adjusting the DSP's various parameters with a full graphical display and rotary encoder for menu navigation.
  • Wrote C++ code in RTOS (Real time operating systems) platform and used protocols such as CAN bus and I2c for communication.
  • Used Altium software to design PCB board for the LCD and used solid works for designing 3D casing for the remote control.
