  • Effective communication with other business units to acquire and scrutinise road asset data, both new and existing, to ensure RAMS currency and enable efficient maintenance-planning of road assets

Accomplishments

  • Recipient of Augrid's Future-Leaders Award in 2012
  • Achieved On-Time-Processing Target over >90% energised assets QA'd and Captured into AMS & GIS within 5 days of final-build-date completion with Ausgrid.
  • Successfully assisted the Ausgrid GIS-section to transition through major upgrade into SAP-AMS and Smallworld GIS 2.0, including developing and providing user-training for all other asset officers and QA staff at the end of transition, and production of the user-manual. This was a legacy-building experience.
  • For the Cartographic Division, I collated and scrutinised wildlife data and employed several complex analytical tools within ArcGIS, to produce accurate species distribution maps of Australian Species, enabling the publication of Australian Geographic Magazine's handbooks, 'Frogs of Australia' (Eiper and Rowland, 2018) and 'Australia's Most Dangerous' (Bauer Media, 2017).
  • For TfNSW, I investigated and eliminated all incidences of unknown culvert size and length in RAMS culvert data, on all roads except M1 Motorway. This has significantly improved the data integrity of TfNSW's digital assets, provided increased value and efficiency to internal stakeholders and benefited culvert inspections contractors in future years.
