- My duties included welding and repair of stock trailers and cattle trucks as well as other metal fabrication tasks required in the stock yard or for roadworks.
- This included intensive or extensive overhaul and repair of stock crates and trailers, which involved welding, fabrication and repair of various equipment such as truck chassis repair.
- Design, drawing and manufacture of various farm equipment to assist in the feed lot process.
- Design, drawing and manufacture of components required for the roadworks graders, loaders and various other transport equipment.
- Design and manufacture of components for new trucks, including toolboxes and new mudguard systems.
- Built the mezzanine floor in the new transport shed, including design and manufacture of stairwells and railings.

- This included replacement of steam valves, non-return valves, saunders valves, steam spools, poly pipe work and poly welding, water pipe work, fixing of water leaks, manufacture of electrical covers, refurbishment of valves, installation of new grease lines and routings, installation of pressure relief valves etc.
- Maintenance and repair performed on mobile equipment and production equipment including maintenance on leach tanks and installation of safety showers, water tanks, walkways, roofing, safety and hazardous area signage and line marking, car park line marking, electrical line marking, installation of smoking areas, pipework painting and marking etc.
- I also filled out Safety Work Method Statements for every job and ensured all safety wear and equipment were being used appropriately.
- Demonstrated versatility in various welding methods including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core Welding techniques.

- My duties included maintaining the feeding systems.
- Adapting the feeding systems so that they were more fit for purpose to prevent feed wastage.
- Manufacturing structural support beams to assist with weight distribution in the various buildings.
- Modifying the water dispensing unit for the pig pens.
- Repair and weld maintenance of the pig pens.
- General modifications and various maintenance to the buildings.

- Manufacture and installation of components at different work sites around Adelaide and regional SA.
- For example, for five weeks, I successfully supervised a maintenance team as we installed 2 new bakeries for Woolworths in Berri and Waikerie. I was responsible for the metal work part of the installation.
- I also supervised and managed our team, inducted local subcontractors, oversaw Occupational Health and Safety requirements, completed all paperwork, consulted with Woolworths management and staff, coordinated fire regulations around hot works and conducted ongoing communication with Nehco management in Adelaide.
- Other duties included shop fitting (assembly and disassembly) including bakeries, shops, shelving etc., on-site measuring and inspection, Moddex installer of handrails, trolley bays, walkway rails etc. as well as on-site repair.
