• Alfred Deakin High School, Diversity, Developed and Delivered the Disability Assistance Program with The Woden School, Individual Learning Program Coordinator. Tailoring intervention and support for students and their families by providing case by case support., Used Allied Health and other services (such as Sanctuary Aus) and referred students to these., established links with other schools within the Directorate to deliver a language program that would fulfil learner needs and strengthen learning pathways for learners in the F-10 program (Melrose High School and St Clare’s College)., As Italian Network leader, I established opportunities for Italian teachers in the ACT to meet and developed a resource package to meet their needs during the COVID-19 outbreak and created the opportunity for the network to outline issues for student learning pathways in languages in the ACT to the Directorate., Developed the Positive Behaviour for Learning program at ADHS by facilitating community information and supporting the production of signage in consultation with the PBL Team.
• Alfred Deakin High School, Year 3/4 Italian Teacher, Remote Learning Coordinator Term 2, Positive Behaviours for Learning Internal Coach, Italian Network Leader, As home learning coordinator in 2020 was responsible for the academic and social welfare of students from year 3-6 while they undertook remote learning by offering online lessons and crafting a learning program that was closely aligned with their classes., Maintained welfare contact with parents and assisted in the completing of tasks on several learning areas while assisting in the assessment and reporting process for students learning from home., Developed the Positive Behaviours for Learning program within the school by leading the PBL Team and developing teacher capacity in delivering PBL., Mentored an Early Career teacher and my teaching team of New Educators., As Italian Network Leader managed the Italian teacher’s meetings and initiatives to support and inform the teaching of Italian in the ACT through the dissemination of key information and the support of Italian Language teaching during remote learning., Supported two 3/4 classes in remote learning by working with my teaching team to provide structured learning opportunities to students learning from home.
