Responsibilities as Sorting Assistant:

• Responsible to sort and categorize incoming and outgoing mail based on various factors such as destination, sender, and type of mail. To examine and classify each item to ensure its correct routing.
• Work with various postal equipment such as sorting machines, scanners, and weighing scales. Trained to operate these machines efficiently to handle large volumes of mail accurately and quickly.
• Responsible for maintaining records, updating databases, and performing data entry task to accurately record information related to incoming and outgoing mail, including tracking numbers and delivery status
• Interact with customers, addressing their queries, concerns, and complaints related to mail delivery services & providing excellent customer service

Responsibilities as Sorting Assistant (Deputation):

• Organize office and assist associates to allocate daily routine works
• Sort and distribute communications in timely manner
• Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
• Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
