In January 2022, I participated in the PwC Youplus practical training programme, during which I learnt about business models, business decision-making and financing, financial reporting analysis and other relevant professional knowledge, and then I worked with the project team members to complete the financial analysis of AnchorCoffee and propose an enhancement plan for the final presentation. 

During the project, I analysed the problem with clear thinking and professional knowledge of accounting and economics. In the module of "Propose Innovative Enhancement Plan", I firstly identified the problems that arose from the analysis of the financial report and the current situation of the shops with my team members, and then proposed a feasible plan to solve the three problems: the founder of AnchorCoffee wants to form a nationwide chain of shops with low recognition, without a basic financial team, and the small single-market of the products. We proposed a practical solution to improve the online business system to increase awareness and finally promote the chain, and guaranteed to set up a basic financial team in the third month, and at the same time to enrich the product line with Starbucks as the target. I was the only person in this project who successfully applied the knowledge of using complete sentences as titles in PowerPoint, as taught by the project teacher, to the final presentation. Under my lead, we were the only group that did not blindly analyse and compare the data given in the assignment, finding out after rational comparison that since there is a big gap between AnchorCoffee and Starbucks in terms of the size and number of shops, it would not be meaningful to make a blind comparison, and thus we did not put the relevant comparison data into the final presentation.
