· Project Scope & Content: The project provides a comprehensive overview of Bitcoin, covering its decentralized nature, technical workings, history, and major security and operational risks (social, legal, economic, technological). It includes detailed chapters analyzing these aspects and highlights the practical limitations of using Bitcoin as a digital currency.

· Key Findings: Despite Bitcoin's theoretical appeal as a decentralized currency, the study reveals significant security and risk-related issues. A Monte Carlo simulation was conducted to predict Bitcoin's 2019 price, indicating a downward trend and a decline in global enthusiasm compared to its early years.
