• Responsible for driving clinical care and leadership under the Manager of Care and Well being and collaborating with LLT to ensure that nursing care and services achieve quality outcomes to residents, families and stakeholders

• Seven-week secondment whilst General Manager and then Care Manager went on annual leave, attending to rosters, payroll, critical incidents, outbreak management, ACFI and staff management

• Few weeks documentation preparation and quality assurance to ensure SC Canley Vale care planning and education are in keeping with standards prior to scheduled Accreditation

• Collaborated with doctors to quickly assess patients and deliver appropriate treatment while managing rapidly changing conditions.
• Responsible for medication administration and conducting specialised procedures such as catheterisation, peritoneal dialysis, airway management etc.
• Educated residents who are cognitively able, families and carers on diagnosis, treatment options, disease process, restrictive practice, medication management, dignity of choice and lifestyle options.

(40hrs/week; all shifts) educated, guided, supervised and evaluated two-year Practical Nursing students in rendering nursing care and basic health care services/procedures to clinical areas such as the Paediatric, Medical and Surgical Ward of Bataan General Hospital (200 bed capacity Tertiary Level Government Hospital)

ü (10-20 hrs/week; during weekends) provides lecture, discussion and evaluation exams regarding various subjects in the classroom setting such as:

a. Fundamentals of Nursing (3rd trimester AY 2009-2010)

b. Anatomy and Physiology (1st trimester AY 2010-2011)

c. Maternal and Child Care (1st trimester AY 2010-2011)

d. Nursing Science (2nd trimester AY 2010-2011)

e. Nursing Practice I and II (3rd trimester AY 2010-2011)

• (40 hrs/week; 12-hour rotating shifts), - General Ward (Medical, Surgical, Paediatric, OB) Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for delivering nursing care to patients within an assigned area by utilizing the nursing process

• Assessed and closely monitors vital signs of blood donors while ongoing blood fractionation
• Performed venipuncture and cannulation to be used upon drawing blood from the donor

• (40 hrs/week; 7am to 3pm shift), and Responsibilities:
• Executed nursing techniques, procedures, comfort measures and health teachings to various patients in a private hospital setting
