I have had a rewarding and fulfilling career as a medical scientist and a successful entrepreneur in the fast-food industry; I am driven to transition into nursing due to my passion for holistic health care and direct patient interaction. I am excited to taken on a nursing career that advocates on behalf of the patients, while providing compassionate care that makes a meaningful difference in the life of others.

  • Making financial and business decisions, marketing, managing daily operations such as training and development of employees, admin, book keeping etc.

  • During my second placement, I provided post-operative care to patients following colorectal and bariatric surgeries
  • have conducted vital assessments at scheduled intervals, administering medications etc., for a patient load of three using a shift planner
  • I have also learnt aseptic non-touch techniques for wound dressing, intra-muscular and subcutaneous injections, maintaining fluid balance charts, wound drain removal, IV antibiotics and medication administration, writing progress notes and discharge summaries.
