I am currently the master of a 12.80 meter semi sub (Island Explorer) vessel with twin 70hp outboard engines which does coral viewing tours around Hamilton Island.

This Involves:

• Safe maneuvering and berthing of the vessel in all conditions
• Operating in very shallow waters (0.9 meters) and holding the vessel stationary
• Creating plans for the tour based on current and foreseeable weather and tides
• Talking extensively about coral reef, fish and the Whitsundays
• Maintenance, Pre starts & Shut downs
