As a passionate and seasoned professional with a strong foundation in tutoring, I am now aspiring to transition into community service as an enrolled student. My experience is marked by adept problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize performance, with a proven track record in project management and effective team collaboration. I am dedicated to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends to foster organizational success. Known for my reliability and strong work ethic, I excel in completing tasks safely across diverse environments. Motivated by personal experiences with ADHD, eating disorders, and depression stemming from childhood trauma, I am deeply committed to helping others navigate similar challenges and making a positive impact in the community service sector. My journey has equipped me with empathy, resilience, and a profound desire to contribute to the well-being of others, driving my commitment to meaningful, transformative work.
As a Community Service Assistant at the Break Inc., my role is grounded in compassion, creativity, and dedication to supporting those who need it most. I will help develop and deliver programs that empower disadvantaged individuals, such as therapeutic art sessions that allow participants to express emotions they cannot always put into words. My work will involve reaching out to local businesses and pro bono professionals, fostering connections that bring essential resources, mentorship, and support into the community. Through mindful activities, outreach initiatives, and meaningful conversations, I will help create a space where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued.
Whether it’s assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating donations, or helping someone rediscover their voice through art, my presence will make a genuine impact on the lives of others. My role will require patience, empathy, and the ability to engage with people who may feel isolated or overlooked. By contributing my time and heart to this work, I am not only helping others grow, but also helping to build a community rooted in inclusion, understanding, and hope. This role is more than a job for me; it is an opportunity to be part of a mission that brings light and healing to those who need it most.

I headed to Sydney for my university studies and, by coincidence, found a passion for the medical field after my grandpa passed away due to cardio issues. This personal experience motivated me to join the Australian Red Cross Volunteering group, where I assist those in need and learn various medical techniques.
I've done the job by teaming up with local businesses to rustle up donated goods for those doing it tough. I've been yarning with the crew about what's on the horizon and making sure everyone is on the same page. Pulled off a few ripper donation drives for clobber, tucker, medical gear, and other bits and bobs. Also, I've whipped up some beaut info sheets about the Red Cross services to share with the individuals around town.
