Outgoing educator, highly skilled in communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and cleanliness. It is extremely important to me that I enhance every workplace and take all feedback on board, trying to continuously grow and develop in any role. I immensely enjoy helping others and ensuring a good relationship with both coworkers and those I will be working around.
As an educator at Jubilee Primary School, my role is to supervise and assist children with their specific needs, prepare meals for children, maintain a high level of hygiene throughout all activities, help to design engaging programs for all ages, monitor children's interactions with one another, and assist in conflict resolution, while teaching the children how to effectively resolve their own conflicts, deal with difficult behaviours of children, and work as a team to maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the centre. These are skills that I will be able to use throughout any job, as it requires me to adjust to different situations and continue to understand the importance of learning how to deal with new situations.
As a bartender, I handled bar tabs and kept track of patrons' drinks, followed safety procedures to deny patrons further consumption if necessary, ensured patrons were consuming enough water and food, assisted in maintaining bar inventory, trained new bartenders, and maintained a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness at all times. These are important skills, as they taught me the importance of customer care and well-being.
During my time as a cashier, I developed the skills to handle customer complaints and concerns promptly, to deescalate situations, greet customers, respond to any requests, and count tills at the beginning and end of each shift. This taught me the importance of my responsibilities in customer service, and how to treat and speak to people.
During my time at Cavill's Steak House, I further developed my customer service skills through waiting tables, bringing out food, and responding to any complaints promptly, checking up on customers often, assisting the team with turning over tables after people left, communicating with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery, constantly communicating with other staff to ensure efficient operations, and keeping my area clean constantly. This establishment benefited my communication skills in high-stress situations, such as complaints and busy hours.
Up until recently, I was heavily involved with the Gold Coast Touch Association as both a regional player and a junior league coach.
I graduated from my high school education with an ATAR of 79. In my role as an educator, I received the monthly award for outstanding child interactions, engagement, and teamwork within the company.
