- Maintaining daily living standards by assisting clients with personal hygiene needs.
- Assisting clients in preparing meals and feeding.
- Making beds, sanitizing equipments and surfaces to support activities of daily living.
- Disposing used equipments and wastages according to policy and procedure.
- Collaborating with other professionals to develop treatment plans for clients.
- Providing person centered care and maintain dignity of choice of the clients.
- Guiding clients in development of skills and strategies for dealing with individual problems.
- Utilizing strong assessment skills to determine necessary client care and daily function assistance.
- Administration of medication to clients according to strict schedules.
- Advocating for clients to resolve medical or personal crises.
- Recording and reporting clients temperature, pulse and blood pressure to monitor health and well-being.
- Reporting concerns to the Registered Nurse or supervisor to promote optimal care.
