Summary

I am currently employed as a Project and Policy Officer with the NSW Ministry of Health (Office of Health and Medical Research), working within the grants program team. Over the course of my career as a public health professional, I have gained extensive experience in designing and delivering a wide array of public health projects, coordinating events, and conducting both research and literature reviews. My role has involved close collaboration with various state and federal government agencies on public health initiatives and led to developing key milestones across three health programs during this period. I have developed a strong understanding of the Australian health system through direct engagement with teams, government agencies, Local Health Districts, Aboriginal Medical Services, and Aboriginal health professionals, to ensure culturally appropriate program implementation and meaningful community engagement. I hold a Master's degree in Global Health and am now working through my own personal health initiatives, assisting in the development of program strategies for chronic diseases. This has enabled me to continue championing community-focused seamless integration into policy implementation of culturally appropriate care within Aboriginal communities.
