Their main software product is Single National System (SNS) that brings in all the Australian states under one roof. It has different modules like Registration of Race Horses (ROR), Licensing, Bonus, Payments, and Racebooks. Recently they have started modernizing the product by using Angular, Web API/Microservice, Azure CI/CD., Analyzing the existing application functionality. He was managing multiple projects and after he resigned three resources were hired to do his job. ProMonSys, Hughes, Proactive Monitoring System proactively keeps tracks of all the sites of Hughes in India and checks for their health. It introduces a new concept of site health checkup using the Weather Group which helps in providing a precise output. The software captures site information from different gateways in the form of .evp, .bil and .txt files constantly and does the necessary calculations to generate elaborative reports visible to support engineers, top management and customers. It also has a detailed Admin part and all the reports have very up to date search functionality., Arup used MVC as the project contains very heavy reports and database can be changed. Detailed UML diagrams have been created by him. Proper TDD is followed for development. He used a combination of Form and Windows based authentication, xVal for validation and JQuery to beautify the Views. Entity Framework is used because database used can be SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle. Many Utilities, Services using WCF and SQL jobs were also created to support the software., Arup delivered and deployed the project singlehandedly., ASP.Net MVC and Entity Framework was used in 2009 by Arup when these software frameworks were in initial stages and not many supports was available online. The final output of the project was very good, and the end user really liked what they saw. Midas, Hughes, Midas is an indigenous ERP application built to help Hughes Communication India Ltd. (HCIL) in each and every aspect of its business. Its boundary starts with HR management to Customer Billing and again Order generation to Rollout. Presently there are 18 modules that sum up Midas and the count is ever increasing. The software is totally Intranet based but some part of it has been made public for customers, touring users etc. Midas is very closely engraved with SAP and one of the success stories that shows how software can run a big organization like Hughes., Arup was the Module Lead for one of the biggest modules of Midas named Rollout. He also took care of modules like HR, SMS, Fusion and a bit of SFA (Sales Force Automation). His team strictly follow Agile methodology using Scrum to deliver the products. Fresh development and maintenance activities related to the above modules were under him. Apart from that a few fresh Midas module development, R&D work, SQL jobs and Utilities are taken care off by him and his team., Very complex system but handled well by Arup. Awarded with Best Team of the year from Hughes. He was leading the team. SSiVision, OneBlueOcean (SSI), SSiVision is a comprehensive Business Technology Automation Solution that is designed to streamline and automate routine technology and business processes. SSiVision enables customers to see the actual performance of the system and tracks response time, system availability and outage conditions. It generates alerts when the system is outside acceptable thresholds, enabling proactive management. It also tracks network, server, database and application performance related to critical business transactions. SSiVision generates dynamic report for management. SSiVision is an existing product of SSI and is very successful in the United States. But since most of the existing clients of SSI are shifting towards Windows platform and big clients do not allow agent software to be installed in their servers, so the new version of SSiVision is getting developed in Dot Net and all the technologies that are supported by the Windows., Arup's Role was to develop the portal using DotNetNuke and .Net tools that includes making user controls, admin pages, and classes for implementing securities, synonym and classes to handle both SQL Server and MySQL, applying skins and CSS and Database design modifications., Arup did an excellent job judging the complexity of the project.
