I have worked as a Registered Nurse in Sandhu Surgical Maternity and Multi-Speciality Hospital, for more than 5 years and gained experience in the ICU, Emergency, Surgical and Medical department the in India (2012 to 2019). I have done IRON BRIDGING PROGRAME and completed my six weeks placement in JOHN FAWKNER PRIVATE HOSPITAL, Moreland, VIC. I have also completed Certificate 3 in Aging and Disability and completed my placement for the same in Regis aged care. As a result of my placement experiences, I have started working as Personal care assistant in an aged care environment and knowledge gained through college studies, I have developed a broad knowledge base of clinical skills in aged and Dementia specific clients and acute medical and surgical care settings. Roles And Responsibilities

  • Provide basic nursing care to residents, including taking Blood Sugar Levels, administering insulin and PRN medication, undertaking basic observations and wound care management.
  • Ensure Activities of Daily Living are followed for residents, including booking transport, escorts and faxing medications to pharmacy.
  • Complete documentation for residents, including initial assessments, initial care plans and ongoing progress notes.
  • Participate in handover with other clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
