Driven and dynamic, I leveraged my expertise at Wesley Mission to enhance educational experiences, tailoring strategies for individual success and fostering strong relationships. Specializing in both one-on-one and group settings, I improved engagement through customised learning approaches, showcasing my ability to manage diverse behaviors and communicate complex information effectively.
In my role as a part-time before and after school care educator, I am dedicated to creating a warm, engaging, and secure environment for primary school-aged children. I am responsible for planning and executing a diverse range of weekly activities, including crafts, sports, and scientific experiments, to foster a stimulating and educational experience for the children. I manage a wide range of behaviors, ensuring an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where every child feels at home. My role also involves building strong relationships with parents and colleagues, collaborating to develop and revise curriculum that enhances the learning experience. I am enthusiastic and motivated, committed to providing children with the best possible care and educational opportunities.
I tutor students from Year 2 to Year 12, currently maintaining a client base of 22 permanent students. I provide personalised instruction in both math and English, with lessons lasting from 1 to 2 hours. My responsibilities include thorough preparation before each session and ongoing communication outside of class, particularly with high school students who require continuous support with their studies. Additionally, I work closely with parents and students to tailor my approach for each student's unique needs, including specialised and personalised strategies for those with learning disabilities. I empower students to take ownership of their learning process by providing tools and resources for independent study outside of tutoring sessions.
