I am Arzu a 28 years old lady who was born and raised in Mannheim, where the first automobile, bicycle, tractor, elevator, and rocket-powered aircraft were invented, along with the birthplace of the Mercedes car brand. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Worms in Taxation and a Master's from the International College of Management in Manly, collaborating with the University of Ludwigshafen, focusing on Accounting and Management.

I believe that interpersonal relationships, social skills and leadership abilities are as important as professional expertise. Alongside my full-time studies, I mentored girls from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through Buschgirls, an initiative supported by the city of Mannheim. There, I taught teenage refugees German, helped them integrate into the German community and culture, and assisted with writing job applications. Furthermore, I served as a dormitory tutor for the University Worms. During this period, I was responsible for the care and integration of 500 international students in the dormitory. Additionally, I served for two years as a tutor at Worms University of Applied Sciences, where I facilitated courses in internal accounting and SAP ERP system applications. Alongside my tutoring role, I worked directly for the director of the university, where I was responsible for organizing conferences and managing the care of speakers. To expand my intellectuality and cultural knowledge I completed one semester abroad in Lahore, Pakistan, and also studied in Sydney, Australia. Studying abroad far from my hometown not only broadened my horizons but also encouraged me to think outside the box.

At Ernst & Young’s Department of Transfer Pricing I completed my bachelor thesis focusing on intra-group transfer pricing. My responsibilities included defining and calculating intra-group transfer prices, analyzing the different interests between customs and tax authorities to find the correct transfer pricing.

At Ernst & Young’s Department of Financial Services, I independently handled the taxation of an investment fund in America and I calculated the stock allocations between different countries.

At Ernst & Young’s Department of People Advisory Services, I prepared income tax returns for expatriates in compliance with double taxation agreements. Following my internship, Ernst & Young extended my employment contract with them.

At KPMG’s Department of Artificial Intelligence, I supported technical quality assurance for a new software solution, which efficiently sped up the work of tax advisors and clients. I determined taxable transactions between group companies.

After graduating with my Master's I worked full-time for 24 months as a Business Process Consultant at SAP headquarters in Waldorf, Germany, where I engaged directly with customers in a 100% customer-facing capacity. My specialization involved designing and optimizing corporate processes to ensure effectiveness from strategic, business, and technological perspectives. I actively participated in decision-making, process design, and solution conception, taking leadership in software architecture and implementation strategies. Additionally to that, I am a certified SAP Management Accounting Consultant.
