I have been working in an acute surgical ward covering multiple specialties, including urology, gynecology, plastics, bariatrics, orthopedics, spinal, ears, nose and throat, pediatrics, and general surgery. My clinical duties and key responsibilities include as follows:

• Competent in PIVC insertion and administering intravenous fluids, administering medications via various routes, and monitoring responses.
• Competent in IDC insertion for males or females and monitoring fluid balance. Proper knowledge of bladder irrigation.
• Ordered and analyzed diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient conditions.
• Educated patients and families on medical-surgical procedures, therapeutic regimens, and pain management techniques. Managed patients' pain by implementing pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management interventions.
• Monitored hemodynamic variances to identify signs of life-threatening complications.
• Identifying any signs of deterioration of patients' condition and escalating patient care when required.
• Performed emergency medical procedures such as BLS, and other condition-stabilizing interventions.
