Ascertain locations for Hydropower facility in Yorke Peninsula, South Australia

• The three important concerns were location identification, technical analysis and economic feasibility of the project
• Mapped the topography of Yorke Peninsula and locations were discerned by looking at characteristics, including elevation from the forebay and afterbay, water availability (throughout the year), closeness to power grids and environmental constraints
• Completed technical analysis, which was primarily concerned with finding out the flow velocity
• Estimated revenue generated, maintenance cost required and net income with the data available from location and technical analysis
