Participate - Architecture Beyond Capitalism (ABC) Summer School - The Architecture Lobby (USA)

2021

The Architecture Beyond Capitalism School (ABC School) is a six-week-long virtual summer school launched in June 2021 by The Architecture Lobby. The school stems from a desire within the Lobby to critically interrogate the structures and systems of power that have made change difficult within design professions and institutions and a belief that architecture schools do not teach what and how they could.

Participate - "Indigenise" Studies Unit at Monash University: Carroll Go-Sam & Sarah Lynn Rees

2020

An intensive studies unit focused on Indigenous Australian architecture, taking a critical review of case study projects and their design processes from procurement to awards and media. It immersed and encouraged participants in researching, interviewing, writing, and graphic production techniques to map and elicit design responsive Indigenous protocols and methods. In the end, we produce Issue 01 of the ‘Indigenous’ Journal, which includes a series of articles and critical reviews.
