I relocated to Newman late 2021 where I was contracted to BHP as a Maintenance Execution Specialist; I have grown in the warehousing, and SAP space which enabled me to the move into a Site Specialist Planning Secondment prior to taking maternity leave. Post leave I was offered a Coordinator role to assist with the day to day of the Offline Maintenance Team.

I am a passionate and driven worker who thrives under pressure. I learn fast and am always ready to put my best foot forward in showing consistent growth as an employee.

Work Management Coordinator

  • Scope and review scoped properties to ensure we are meeting our approved budget.
  • Initiate cost cutting discussions in regards to scoped work that may not be within budget or relevant to the current Property Portfolio.
  • Review close out materials when properties have been handed back from our contracting partner.
  • Update registers - Asbestos, forecasting spreadsheet.
  • Create PMI work packs for our Contracting Partners.
  • Prepare and send out a weekly report on properties that have had completed maintenance, properties still in maintenance, and any forecasted issues.
  • Weekly meeting with the Operations team to discuss proposed properties to go into maintenance that best fits their demand for housing.
  • Review claims from our Contracting Partner and deep dive any variances.
  • Attend the Work Management Meeting, Contractor Weekly meeting, L1, L2 and Practical Problem Solving Meetings.
  • Raise notifications for properties going into maintenance, then once approved, planning and scheduling these.
  • Ongoing Master Data management for plan resets once properties have been returned from our contracting partner.

  • Utilised 1SAP and Fiori to complete Planning and Scheduling tasks.
  • Converted PM01, and PM06 scopes to be planned and scheduled work orders - as well as PM02 works.
  • Reviewed notifications and quality checked prior to conversion, escalating any enquiries to the Superintendent or Supervisors where necessary.
  • Prepared and sent out the weekly Pre Read +1, +2, and Final Plan.
  • Reviewed and tracked materials, escalating to contract leads and supplier representatives if there were any issues.
  • Constantly reviewed and implemented strategies to overcome material delays - constantly reviewed PATs and spoke to our Supply partners.
  • Reviewing L1 and L2 metrics - where we set the standard of a maximum average of 35 days for work order completion. This enabled us to meet the needs of our customer, the tenants, and other relevant areas of the department.
  • Collaborated with teams to achieve project goals on time and within budget (Online Maintenance, Offline Maintenance, Operations, HV, Projects, Ahrens, Chubb, and AllRid).
  • Maintained and updated current plans with the use of Master Data.
  • Consistent data sourcing through SAP and excel to enable improvement and growth within the planning area.
  • Prepared and presented our weekly Work Management Meeting to members of the department.
  • Attended L1, L2, Practical Problem Solving, and the Supervisor Meeting on a weekly basis.
  • Completed 6 Field Leaderships per month as per the set KPIs.
  • Project I had key involvement in: Securing off contract vendors to return as key suppliers for BHP. I worked alongside the contract team, inventory and Blackwoods, to provide data and insight to requirements of Community Infrastructure both present and forecasted. This initially saw the return of Reece Plumbing (formally), Home Hardware, and has since seen the return of Rexel and others for SAP based purchasing.

Maintenance Execution Specialist

Operating within Housing Maintenance my responsibility is to implement improvement strategies to better the the material logistic operations and maintenance execution for our work management. I assist the Trade Maintainers, Supervisors, and Planners within their scopes of work, as well as filling in for our Planners whilst they are on leave.

  • Material Logistics support and improvement - initiating and completing improvement strategies for the NPI Housing Materials Depot

Beginning as an Administration Support team member who assisted in the improvement and tidy up of current systems, I was shortly transitioned to a Recruitment based role where I was responsible for supplying Contractor Support to twelve sites for several role types. I also became a contact for our local contractors if they had any enquiries or required assistance.
