As an Early Childhood Educator I have worked in various areas of the childcare centre ranging from babies through to Kinder age.

My current role is a Room Leader in the two to three year old room where I am in charge of 10-15 children on a daily basis.

This role involves :

• Maintaining and fostering positive and constructive interactions with staff, families, and children.
• Providing one on one attention to children while maintaining overall focus on entire group.
• Observing play activities to identify positive behaviours and areas in need of improvement, implementing behaviour redirection where appropriate.
• implementing rules and managing behaviour through developmentally appropriate discipline.
• Maintaining effective schedule balance between rest periods, active play and instruction.
• Maintaining child-friendly environment by allowing frequent access to outdoor activities.
• Engaging with children individually to encourage physical activity and academic curiosity.

I started my Hungry Jacks journey as a Crew Member, I was quickly promoted to a Team Leader and then to an Assistant Manager/2IC

My role as Assistant Manager/2IC involved :

• Management of 10 crew members, assisting with hiring, training, and professional growth of employees.
• Money handling and banking.
• Working in high pressure constantly evolving environment
• Opening and closing store.
• Carrying out daily shift duties accurately and efficiently.
• Resolving issues with customers by employing careful listening and communication skills.
• Supervise all areas of restaurant to keep it clean and well-maintained.
• Received and processed stock into inventory management system.
• Completed stores weekly figures, recognizing discrepancies and promptly addressing for resolution.
