I am a hard working 18 year old girl, i am a very loyal and reliable employee that always puts 100 percent effort to make every task i complete efficient and effective. I am a fast learner and take on new responsibilities smoothly. I am able to work long hours and currently work at Seymour Mcdonlds leading and organising my crew throughout shifts and perform great customer service and complaint resolution. Throughout my time at mcdonalds i have been able to become proficient in all areas of the store; being able to pick up the skill of producing great burgers and coffee, packing orders in a neat and adroit manner, taking instruction and performing above expectations and keeping all areas clean and sanitized. With these skills i was able to take on great lengths of initiative and execution that lead me to attaining crew member of the month twice in my first 16 months being employed there.
After becoming successful in all areas of the store, i was then promoted to a crew coach which was a major step in my path to leadership, i was able to gain confidence in myself and my knowledge and able to constructively teach new members their first steps and valuable information to take with them along their journey. Being such a diverse workplace i had to learn to adapt to all types of learning styles and barriers people may hold, such as language barriers and disabilities. Experiencing the difference in people has made me easily able to approach new situations and adapt appropriating in a fast fashion, i am able to apply this to my work as it has expanded my thinking and made me more open minded to how i approach costumers and solve problems with machinery and equipment.
Being promoted to management was a fair change to the way i worked as i had to step back and observe the performance of others, instead of my own. This enhanced my perspectives on workplace functioning as i had to learn the importance of positioning and delegating, sales and labour, motivational entities and the health and wellbeing of my peers.
Undertaking these different roles in a workplace and being able successfully execute an organized workplace, filled with cooperation and enthusiasm, leads me to believe i would be a great addition and contribution to your team.

In this workplace i have learnt many skills outside of my comfort zone. I provided shampoo, conditioning treatments, scalp massages and blow-dried hair for clients. While also assisting to trims and colourings of many different clienteles hair. This position pushed me to overcome anxieties of meeting new people and improved my communication skills as i have participated in many client consultations and generalized conversation throughout the process. I was able to stock and retrieve supplies, arranging them in form of colour and sort, with rotation between new and old. I prepare dyes, cream, and other products needed for the service, and maintain a clean and organized work station.
In this position i learnt the skill of preparing specialty coffee such as lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos and more. I have operated cash registers to process customer payments, giving excellent customer service to each person. I labelled and monitored supplies, aswell as stock rotation and inventory control. Along with that, i have frequently monitored all equipment and resolved equipment failure according to the manufacturers instructions. Always when on shift I followed food safety protocols and adhered to health department regulations on cleanliness and sanitation. i was put in many stressful situations, as the cafe can be quite a busy place, this has taught me to be able to maintain a calm demeanor during high-volume periods and special events.
As manager i have developed and maintained positive working relationships with staff, customers, and vendors.
As a crew coach i have developed and implemented an effective training program for new crew members which i have adapted the skill of alternating it to benefit multiple different learning types and barriers between different people. examples of this include role play, spatial learning and a hands on approach, having all three combined it ensures all junior crew they will have the most understanding of each role they can take on. I have been able to monitor training through computer programs and constructed my own on floor training, providing constructive feedback on performance within cleaning, stocking, customer service and cash handling. I have taught and ensured all safety protocols were followed at all times by monitoring staff behaviors and providing corrective actions when necessary. I Always cultivate a positive work environment through recognition programs, employee engagement initiatives and team building activities.
