Summary

I'm a Senior network engineer with a passion for all things Networks and automation. With 20 years in the IT industry starting on the Service Desk for Telstra Bigpond and working my way up through the ranks of help desk, desktop support and spending the last 13 years working in Secure Network environments. During that time working with different Managed Service providers, in supporting many government accounts performing all activities from BAU support, Network design, implementation and project support/documentation, using a variety of network vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, HPE, BIG-IP (F5), Fortinet, Alteon (Radware), Juniper and Palo Alto security products.

My currently focus has been to improve my network automation skills by studying DevOps practices, python, ansible, terraform and AWS cloud formation.
