In high-school, I achieved 3 diligence awards in Academics, and achieved a first team tie and scroll for swimming and for athletics.

Girl guides gave me so many skills I still use today. It provided me the skills to mature, become more independent, more responsible, and aided me in becoming more knowledgeable. It gave me the skills of being able to work within a team, with different individuals, and how to work efficiently as an individual.  It taught me when to play and when to work. I am now able to also work well with and within nature, where it has given me a guide to keep active and in touch with the natural world. It guided me to become the person I am today, with more confidence, knowledge, and responsibility.
