Ashton Bonsall

Originally from Brisbane, I have recently moved to Melbourne after accepting a contract to play senior men's soccer for a large Victorian NPL club, Heidelberg United. After spending 12 months in Shepparton in 2025, I have now settled in Melbourne, where I intend to stay. I have a brand new, fully insured vehicle of my own for transport and hold a manual Victorian licence. I have an excellent, positive attitude which I learnt from playing senior mens football at a young age as well as coaching and mentoring kids at the clubs I have played for. As a goalkeeper, I bring strong communication which is a requirement for me to perform. This relates well in a working environment, being part many clubs and teams proves I can work effectively in a team structure. I believe I can easily adapt to my surroundings given my experiences of moving away from home at a young age to the US to attend college in Louisiana. As a freshman, I made the starting team receiving weekly acknowledgments and helping my team progress to the national level. Academically, I excelled achieving deans honours and named on the Chancellor’s list. Unfortunately, injury saw me leave and recover at home. In 2025, I played in Shepparton at GV Suns supporting myself with work and coaching in conjunction with my football commitments.I have varied experience in different positions and industries ranging from Merchandise and retail to the coaching and working with a diverse range of people. I am reliable, driven and committed to finding permanent work in Melbourne and believe I would be an asset to any organisation when given the opportunity.
