During my time at Cooke and Dowsett, I’ve gained a wide range of skills and valuable experience in the plumbing industry, working across several major job sites.
At Thomas Embling Hospital, I was involved in in-ground works including deep sewer installations and HDPE water mains.
At Cranbourne Hospital, I worked on rough-ins, installed copper mains, and assisted with fit-offs.
Most recently, at St Vincent’s Hospital, I’ve been involved in rough-in work, installing copper ring mains, fit-offs, and drainage systems.
I started my apprenticeship at New Plumbing Solutions, where I worked on a range of maintenance plumbing jobs like fixing leaks, replacing taps and toilets, clearing blocked drains, repairing burst pipes, and doing roofing works. It’s where I learned the basics of the trade and built my confidence working on job sites.
