At 9 years of age I founded a self inspired, philanthropic resource purely motivated by my desire to improve the lives of our ever growing homeless community called Homeless Helpers QLD.

My mother managed the ACNC's compliance requirements allowing legal receipt of significant financial donations from corporate sponsors to invest in a mobile hair salon in a fully equipped caravan. HHQLD's full service offerings included hair cuts, toiletry packs, clothes, blankets, hot dinners and groceries.

Being the Founder of HHQLD and only 9 years old, I was lucky enough to be tasked with the "fun" jobs and were primarily focused on being the face of the organisation. A brief overview of my primary tasks include but are not limited to:

• Accept donations, bundle and coordinate their distribution. Items including back packs/bags, toiletries, clothing, bedding, pantry items & hot meals.
• Create marketing materials, photo and video journals for social media, assist with official media releases and event flyers.
• Develop and implement creative fundraising initiatives such as motorcycle rallies, garage sales, car washes & sausage sizzles
• Present to potential donors for corporate sponsorship
• Act as an Ambassador and engage in documentary creation, radio & podcast interviews.
• Motivate and thank volunteers to ensure their continued return
• Facilitated weekly outreach events, distributing goods and engaging with community members for service improvements.
