Direct Support: providing support and guidance in all aspects of the delivery of services to clients in the provision of effective, efficient and client focused community access programs.
Activities: supporting the implementation of programs, activities and experiences for clients that create a stimulating environment and broadening opportunities inclusive of client interests and skills.
Communication: communicating with clients and families to ensure the best experience possible for clients.

Provide support to people with disabilities using person-centred active support approach
Provide support services as required, based on an understanding of the client's needs, wishes and level of independence with established parameters
Create and maintain an environment that empowers people with disabilities
Identify and utilise specific communication methods to interact with people with disabilities
Advocate for people with disabilities
Complete administrative work including maintaining records
Maintain interpersonal communications with clients and their families and provide advisory, social, and emotional support
Promote the maximum physical and social integration through supporting clients to participate in the community
Enhance the independence of people with disabilities
Actively promote an environment which enhances client's competencies within a secure and supportive environment
Planning of teaching according to curriculum and syllabus
Submit Scheme of work for each School term on the first working day of term
Submit daily lesson notes to Head of School
Ensures that pupils of mixed abilities are catered for through diverse and inclusive pedagogy
Make use of available technologies to teach
Carries out regular formative and summative assessment
Marks properly, regularly, timely assessments and assignments
Encourage pupils to do research work and to develop their talent
Prepares and carries out revision activities and remedial work according to chapter taught
Organise Educational tours, accompany class on outings
