Development of DCS for PLC based applications

objective: To build a platform to monitor and control PLC based processes over the MODBUS network.

The plants are inbuilt with different flow meters in industry. Here, the output of the plants are incorporated with PLC(programmable Logic control) and through the Ethernet Hub it can finally communicate with DCS(Distributed Control System).

The DCS system can collect data from diversified equipment and the data get across the MODBUS is carried to an industrial control computer.

Finally, the output of the plants are displayed in the DCS incorporated system. Here we can control and monitor the plant which flowmeters are efficiently working.
