Asten Jay Gould

i am 17 and enthusiastic about continuing my journey in employment, learning from experienced people and companies how to navigate different roles and responsibilities within a team. My goal is to work hard, learn more in a new employment role. Through school and sporting activities I will continue to do my best and continue to grow, mature, learn and enjoy the life experience I will have. I am currently a year 11 student at Rossmoyne Senior High School and studying English ,Woodwork , PE studies and careers and enterprise. I have always been a very keen sports person which has included Australian rules football at a state level ,Karate, Athletics, Bike Riding and Swimming in my younger years.Basketball is my game of choice now and I have been playing for many years. Last season in Basketball I received an All-Star award which is chosen by the referees, this award goes to players who display high levels of sportsmanship, top skill sets and key core values on the court in every game. In 2020 I received the coaches award for Football which demonstrates my drive to succeed, listen and be an integral part of a team. I have also taken up weights which I enjoy and challenge myself with. practicing basketball and improving my skills is what i enjoy doing in my spare time as well as spending time with my friends watching movies and playing sports. I am always a team player who gets along with everyone however can follow instructions and get a job done autonomously using initiative when needed I am interested in engineering aspects of machinery, how they work, what can be achieved by using them and seeing a project completed, I imagine would be very rewarding when finished. Talented laborer with solid experience, teamwork abilities and understanding of safety. Competent helping teams complete work through effective materials handling, trash removal and equipment operation. I am a Detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. most of my previous employment has occurred during the holidays due to my commitments to athletics and school but now i am completely ready to join the workforce full time.

i play basketball for 3 different teams and lift weights with an iron man record of not missing a single game in 2 years even through injury and play at a high level for each team , earning many accolades and basketball is my greatest passion and biggest hobby.
