One of my greatest achievements as a customer service attendant was during a derailment event at Strathfield Station, where I successfully managed a high volume of customer inquiries under intense pressure in a rapidly evolving situation; I remained calm and focused, using active listening, empathy, and clear communication to assist and reassure distressed customers

I followed the instructions provided by the Station Duty Manager to offer the best alternative travel option, while also conducting ongoing risk assessments to ensure both customer and personal safety. This experience not only strengthened my ability to perform under pressure, but also taught me the importance of resilience and teamwork in crisis situations. My efforts were acknowledged through positive feedback from both customers and senior staff
