My practice is guided by social work values of respect, social justice, and empowerment. I aim to be culturally responsive, person-centered, and strengths-based in my approach. I believe in reflective practice and seek to support individuals holistically, with a strong awareness of systemic and structural influences.

• Strengths-Based Approach – I value this theory for its focus on empowering individuals by recognising their existing skills, resilience, and capacities.
• Systems Theory – I am interested in how individuals are influenced by broader social, political, and economic systems, and hope to apply this understanding when supporting clients facing structural disadvantage.

I am a first placement student and am open to acquiring knowledge in a range of fields of practice. I have a particular interest in child protection, disability support, and the links between youth justice and marginalisation.
