She was diagnosed with ADHD and executive dysfunction, (and later Dysgraphia). I adapted a significantly more structured approach creating scaffolds, writing examples and a coloured highlighting system, specifically unpacking the ISMG in extensive detail, and providing weekly feedback on her written paragraphs and assignments in extensive detail.
  • In 2022 I worked with a student (Liv) in year 8 on mathematics. The main focus points with her were understanding the content and learning study techniques.
  • In 2022 I also worked with a student in year 7 (Alkira) we worked together for around a semester and focused on all her subjects, specifically study techniques, assignment scheduling, and finding strategies for her to utilise in class to minimise her homework load.
