Driven by a strong background in agriculture, I honed my skills in grain quality enhancement and safety protocols at Lawson Grains. Agriculture and farming has surrounded me my whole life. Playing sports such as tennis and netball for local sporting clubs has allowed me to create valuable connections and friendships. Playing mixed doubles with my father every saturday afternoon in the summer was the centre of my childhood. Family has always been something close to my heart and my descion to stay locally was made for them.
Local farmers give me the opportunity to learn ways of farming as my father is also a local farmer to the area and has created connections to neighbours. Allowing me to be able to seek employment near by.
While completing these days, hours would be from 7am to 5pm with several breaks.
When working having safety awareness is something I think is extremely important Following safety protocols such as wearing hi- vis vests can decrease the likelihood of injuries
Working with my co workers or customers is beneficial for everyone and the business, in order to create a positive environment
Striving to use my communication skills as a tool in the workplace to connect with others
Being captain of the 2023 Wodonga raiders Under 17s preimership was a highlight of my year due to loosing the year before. Luckily enough being asked on the day to sit on the bench for the B grade grand final and stepping on court in the crucial last quarter.
Being selected in the 2023 O and M interleague team was something i never took for granted. Being named co captain and to not only win the cup but also receive best on court.
Furthermore taking that team to melbourne to play in the Association championships. Versing different associations throughout Victoria.Finishing the weekend 3rd overall.
Netball is something that has built my childhood and something im forever grateful for.
