Experienced in crisis response and homelessness support, I have developed strong case management and advocacy skills within the social work sector. As a Support Worker in the Catholic Care DVRE Team, I provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and case management for women fleeing domestic violence. Completing 500 hours of placement at Doms Place, a women's homelessness service, I successfully managed my own caseload and provided support to clients in a drop-in center. This experience allowed me to gain valuable knowledge in trauma-informed care, honing my ability to navigate complex social systems, offer client-centered support, and thrive in high-pressure environments.
