Averie Mauger

As a young adult on a journey of self-discovery I found myself developing strong morals and personality traits that have remained embedded in me as a person. The most important of which was compassion and inclusivity. I decided a career in nursing would be empowering and perfectly align with my compassion for others and the enjoyment I feel empowering my peers. Through my studies I have found an extreme passion for women's health and the alignment of mental health and physical health in both women and children. I am excited to develop my career and constant learning in the complexities of women's and paediatric health and the importance of recognising the link between our physical health and mental health and how both need to be nurtured together to provide patients with the best outcome's.
