- Site lead for the introduction of solvent recovery/remediation: evaluated novel technologies, scoped design, and developed business cases.
- Implemented continuous waste neutralization within batch processes, enabling parallel processing, and freeing capacity on a constrained equipment train.
- Air Abatement cross-functional team: objective to reduce site emissions to comply with proposed EPA regulations within a tight deadline. Analyzed all site processes to identify operations and solvents driving end-of-line abatement load. Achieved a 50% reduction in solvent loading through in-process optimization and vent header upgrades with guard condenser installation. Led end-of-line carbon-bed abatement improvements and contributed to the design of RTO end-of-line technology.

- MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) technology: three-month commissioning phase—equipment testing, process monitoring, and continuous improvement; collaborated with multiple departments; created SOPs, and delivered operator training.
- Plant maintenance shutdown – utilities. Experience gained in process water treatment plants, plant air compressors, and steam boilers. Responsibilities included safe shutdown of processes, equipment isolation, contractor permitting, and startup of processes following the completion of work and inspections.
- Micro distillery rotation (6 months) – daily operation of a smaller-scale manual distillery. Duties included transferring intermediate from the plant brewhouse, operation of stills, and casking. Trialed and commissioned a new distillate recipe, increasing output by 50%. Brand ambassador work for the brand of whiskey produced in the micro distillery.
- Reported on weekly and monthly plant yields to the head distiller. Carried out a root cause analysis on yield variances.

- JJPS – Managing Site Performance: Took a lead role in this continuous improvement project. The objective was to implement process boards, KPI monitoring, and plant performance meetings to enable operations to meet standard cycle times.
- Internal API transfer – Conducted equipment train walkdowns with operators, and updated process boards and master batch records.
- Implemented three process improvement projects through the 'Change Control' process: removal of the base assay test from an API process, standardizing the conversion time of an input to an API process, and removing the use of a second (waste) reactor in an API process.
