

Highly observant and dedicated Security Officer with a strong commitment to ensuring the safety and protection of people, property, and assets. Experienced in monitoring surveillance systems, conducting patrols, responding to emergencies, and enforcing rules and regulations. • Follow infection prevention and control policies, procedures and instructions relating to work health and safety that are relevant to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality and safe services in the workplace.
• Provide internal security services including routine and regular patrols withinfacilities.
• Assist with emergency responses as a member of the Incident Response Team (IRT) as directed.
• Provide surveillance of abnormal incidents within the precincts of the facility and liaise with police as appropriate.
• Provide information and assistance to staff, visitors and service contractors as necessary.
• Submit written reports on all incidents.
Assists the general public, visitors and employees by answering questions, locating offices and escorting them to specific locations.
• Responds to emergency radio calls including accidents, threats, fires and hostage situations.
• Answers visitor’s questions concerning locations of various offices, rooms and other areas within the hospital.
• Inspects buildings for open doors or windows, damage, safety hazards, and faulty mechanical problems.
• Patrols assigned facility, on foot, to guard and protect persons and property against vandalism, arson, prowlers and other conditions that could lead to loss of life or property.
