In this role, leading a direct team of 5 Technology Leaders Principals and direction set for strategy and delivery for 30 Technology Leaders which includes – Technology Principals, Engineering Leads/Chapter Type principals, architects, and Commercial Engineering Leads.

· Led and built a 3-year IT transformation (IT Evolution) strategy and roadmaps in collaboration with all the business and IT units across Telstra to achieve Telstra T25 (FY23-FY25) strategy objectives. Gained endorsement from Telstra Board and CEOLT.


Ø This enabled us to achieve $50M IT Operational cost out by adopting Buy Vs Build approach, re-use and modern Agile DevSecOps tooling and practices for speed to market. Uplift IT Resilience, Public Cloud/Data & AI transformation, transforming to modern Open digital modular/API first architecture across all IT domains.

Ø Established and Led IT Evolution cross-company delivery mission of $120M CAPEX transformation across 100+ Agile DevOps engineering teams (1500 FTE) and successfully delivered FY23-FY24 CEOLT commitments.


·Leading annual planning, investment prioritisation, balancing demand & supply and defining quarterly OKRs across all IT Groups to achieve strategic company objectives including improving security and risk posture and embedding IT performance metrics to measure performance.


· Co-Led a $700m IT RFP by providing technology and commercial leadership to achieve Telstra T25 objectives and consolidate 400 different vendors into 2 Global strategic partners leading to a 40% cost reduction over 5 years. The scope included 510 applications across 5 IT Capability Groups.

Ø This partnership will enable Software engineering & IT to transform into a Product Engineering organisation, stable workforce, driving innovation and speed to market by implementing modern engineering practices and technologies like artificial intelligence and delivering the best customer experience.


· Optimised a financial spend profile of annual $800M and improved 20% financial efficiency.
