  • To provide the Radiation Engineering Department with mechanical engineering support and to design and manufacture and repair speciality components for various hospital departments. Designed and manufactured a wide range of equipment for the department using SolidWorks, SolidWorks cam, various manual and CNC machines and with 3d printers at my disposal to complete the manufacture of the components required. Developed and implemented a 3D printing process for the manufacture of treatment Bolus which is used for the treatment of patients having therapy. Various software packages were assessed for the manufacture, Autodesk Netfabb, Simplify 3D, and the use of 5 Raise3D printers.

  • Commenced with JLG as a contract trade assistant and quickly offered permanent employment as workshop fitter/technician. Responsible for completion of documentation and inspection records required by Australian standards and customer/site requirements.
